Korea’s hangover-remedy shelves keep getting more inventive. Dong-A Pharmaceutical’s 모닝케어 프레스온 (Morning Care Press On) looks like an ordinary drink, but several tiny 환—traditional-style pills—are hidden separately inside its cap.

To open it, press the top button, twist off the lid, and drink the pills and liquid together. The patented dual-compartment container keeps them separate until the bottle is opened.

There are two versions. The red Press On H contains milk-thistle powder and vitamins, while the green Press On G contains cabbage powder and dietary fiber. Both contain a 100-milliliter drink made with fermented rice-germ and soybean extract. Actor Im Si-wan smiles from the packaging, perhaps looking much fresher than most people feel after a Korean 회식.

It is a clever bit of Korean convenience-store engineering, although no supplement can erase the effects of excessive drinking. Sometimes the best morning care is still drinking less the night before.
