If you’re visiting the Hyundai Department Store in Apgujeong, Gangnam (강남) this summer, don’t miss a stop at 호과당 (Ho Gwa Dang)—also known as Tiger Pie House.

This department store pop-up is known for its handmade pies using 프랑스산 버터 (French butter) and 뉴질랜드산 치즈 (New Zealand cheese).

This fusion pie combines 타코 (taco) spices with a buttery, flaky 파이 crust. It’s savory, cheesy, and perfectly portable—great as a light meal or street snack.

There were two varieties when we stopped by: ours had squash, potatoes, tomatoes, rich cheese, and crispy nachos, all in a French burrito-style pastry.
