Seoul is rolling out English-labeled taxi receipts to make rides clearer and safer for foreign visitors. Until now, receipts were issued only in Korean, making it difficult for tourists to understand base fares, late-night surcharges, or extra fees.

China begins visa-free travel for Koreans.

Starting Friday, November 8, 2024, China will add South Korea to its visa-waiver program. The program allows Korean citizens to travel to China for up to 15 days without visa. The program extends through December 31, 2025. Korea tour group operators expect a surge in tourists traveling to China during the period.
